    Armah signed a reserve/future contract with the Commanders on Tuesday.

    Analysis: Armah has appeared in five games with the Commanders over the last two seasons, mostly contributing on special teams when he's suited up. The 28-year-old had a consistent role with the Panthers from 2018-2020, but he's failed to gain a similar role since. He'll get another chance to earn one in Washington next season.

    Armah was signed to the Commanders' practice squad Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

    Analysis: After being released by the team while dealing with an undisclosed injury to open the season, Armah will return to Washington's practice unit Wednesday. The fullback played in 11 games last season with New Orleans and Washington, turning five carries into 21 yards while reeling in a one-yard touchdown catch over 70 offensive snaps. Armah will provide additional backfield depth behind the likes of Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson.

    Analysis: Though he's a fullback by trade, Armah took some reps at tight end in practice this week and could serve as the lone depth option at the position Tuesday behind John Bates in the event Ricky Seals-Jones (illness) -- who is listed as questionable -- isn't cleared to play.     Analysis: Armah once again served as Carolina's fullback, playing all 16 games for a third straight season.     Analysis: Armah again served as Carolina's fullback this season, and though that role doesn't lend itself to much fantasy value, he was at least turned in a one-yard touchdown plunge in Week 1.
