Won't play in 2020
Allison opted out of the 2020 season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Allison flashed occasionally in four seasons in Green Bay, but he only surpassed 300 yards in one of them, combined for six touchdowns and had 89 catches in 46 games. He was set to vie with Marvin Hall and rookie Quintez Cephus for slotting near the bottom of the regular-season roster, so Allison's decision likely makes the Lions' own roster decisions easier for the upcoming campaign.

Signs with rival
Allison agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Lions on Sunday.
Analysis: Allison arrives from Green Bay, where he was used primarily in two- and three-wide sets, sporting a receiving line of 34-287-2 for the 2019 season. The Lions already have proven options such as Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones (ankle) and Danny Amendola on the roster, so it appears that Allison will be battling Marvin Hall (foot) for the No. 4 receiver spot in Detroit heading into the 2020 season.

Light production in 2019
Allison recorded 34 receptions for 287 yards and two touchdowns over 16 regular-season games in 2019.
Analysis: Allison lined up as the No. 3 wide receiver in the NFC Championship Game and for most of the season, but he and Marquez Valdes-Scantling were passed up for the No. 2 role by undrafted free agent Allen Lazard. It was another unproductive season for Allison, who will be an unrestricted free agent in March, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Packers can bring him back cheap again. With a loaded wide receiver draft in 2020, though, the Packers could let him walk in free agency.

Clear for championship game
Allison (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's NFC Championship Game in San Francisco, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Analysis: As was the case with his teammates, Allison seems to have got over his bout with the flu in 48 hours, going from a DNP on Wednesday to full participant to close out the week. He hasn't surpassed 30 yards receiving since Week 7 but nonetheless has been targeted 3.3 times per game (including playoffs) this season.

Elevates to 'limited' Thursday
Allison (illness) was limited at Thursday's practice.
Analysis: Allison is the most recent Packer to come down with an illness, sitting out Wednesday before getting in some work one day later. He'll look to ditch the designation entirely by week's end.

Dealing with illness
Allison didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness.
Analysis: A flu bug has been going around the Packers' locker room for about a week, impacting the likes of rookie running back Dexter Williams, fullback Danny Vitale and starting right tackle Brian Bulaga. Allison is only the most recent victim, but considering the illness has cycled through in about 48 hours in the other cases, he likely will be fine by the weekend. Friday's injury report will provide the last word on his availability for Sunday's NFC Championship Game at San Francisco.

One reception against Seahawks
Allison was targeted once and had one reception for 11 yards in Sunday's divisional-round win over the Seahawks.
Analysis: Allison was on the field for just 20 of a possible 64 snaps Sunday, which limited his chances to catch the football. Don't expect his role to change much in next weekend's NFC Championship Game.

Three receptions against Lions
Allison was targeted four times and caught three passes for 17 yards in Sunday's victory over the Lions.
Analysis: Allison bounced back from a zero-catch Week 16 with his most receptions since Week 12. He heads into the playoffs as the Packers' No. 3 receiver but has not topped 20 yards in a game since Week 9.

Goes without catch in Week 16
Allison was targeted twice but did not catch a pass in Monday's victory over the Vikings.
Analysis: Allison was on the field for 33 offensive plays, but he was held without a catch for the first time since Week 1. He finished with the third-most snaps among Packers wideouts for the second time in as many weeks, and with Allen Lazard coming on, he figures to stay in that spot. Packers receivers will face a Lions defense in Week 17 that has been beaten by opposing wideouts all season, but it's unlikely Allison will be involved enough to exploit the matchup.

Snap count slips in Week 15
Allison was targeted four times and caught two passes for 19 yards in Sunday's victory over the Bears.
Analysis: Allison had more receptions and yards than he did Week 14, but he still hasn't topped 40 yards in a game since putting up a season-high 52 yards Week 4. He at least had been regularly seeing the second-most snaps among Packers receivers, but he didn't even do that Week 15, finishing third behind Davante Adams and Allen Lazard. He'll head into Week 16 as a third receiver averaging fewer than 20 yards per contest over the last 10 games, which certainly isn't appealing for fantasy purposes.

Gets in full practice Thursday
Allison (knee) practiced fully Thursday.
Analysis: Allison upgraded from Wednesday's limited showing, clearing his health in one fell swoop. He's maintained a consistent workload all season, ranking first among Packers wide receivers with a 60.9-percent share of the offensive snaps. Health has helped him along the way, as well as hindered Davante Adams (56.9 percent), who went from FP on Wednesday to a limited participant Thursday due to his lingering toe issue.

Dealing with knee injury
Allison was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury.
Analysis: Allison has received at least 50 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps in 10 of 13 games this season, including each of the last seven. Even so, he's put up just 29 catches (on 45 targets) for 251 yards and two touchdowns to date. With a knee injury in tow, his status will be one to monitor as this weekend's matchup with the Bears approaches.

Limited to one reception
Allison was targeted once and caught an 11-yard pass in Sunday's victory over Washington.
Analysis: Allison played the second-most snaps among Packers receivers for the fourth game in a row, but as was the case the previous three weeks, the result was only minimal production. The Packers take on a Bears team Week 15 that has struggled to slow opposing receivers of late, but a glance at Allison's game log provides little reason to believe he'll take advantage.

Minimal output again
Allison was targeted three times and caught two passes for 20 yards in Sunday's victory over the Giants.
Analysis: Allison finished second among Packers wide receivers in snaps for the third game in a row, and both of his catches picked up first downs in key spots, but his final output still did not help fantasy players all that much. He's averaging just 2.2 receptions for 12.6 yards over his last five contests, which will not inspire much confidence in him from those weighing options at the wide receiver position Week 14.

Three receptions in defeat
Allison was targeted four times and caught three passes for nine yards in Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: The four targets were the most Allison saw since Week 7, but he did little with his opportunities and finished with a single digit in the receiving yardage department for the third time in four games. Allison started Sunday's game and finished second among Packers wide receivers in offensive snaps. While he does have a nice matchup his next time out against a Giants defense that struggles with opposing pass catchers, given Allison's recent ouptut, fantasy players in need of wide receiver help…read more

Minimal yardage on three receptions
Allison caught all three targets for six yards in Sunday's victory over the Panthers.
Analysis: Allison played the second-most snaps among Packers receivers Week 10, but he also finished fifth among the same group in receiving yards. He's played at least 62 percent of the snaps in three straight games, but he also has accumulated just six receptions and 34 yards since that streak began. While Allison is getting on the field, fantasy players aren't getting much from him and may want to look for another option at the wide receiver position with the Packers on bye Week 11 before facing a…read more

Quiet in Week 10 loss
Allison caught two passes for 21 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: Allison's snap-count percentage increased for the third straight game despite the return of Davante Adams, but as has regularly been the case over the last month, he did little for those in both standard and PPR leagues. To be exact, over five games dating back to Oct. 6, Allison has been targeted 23 times, but accumulated just 12 receptions for 129 yards and no scores. While he is getting on the field, he isn't doing much when he's out there, and it's fair to consider him the fourth-best…read more
